There are no insignificant battles when it comes to the fight against animal rights extremists whose ultimate goal is to eliminate hunting and fishing from the American way of life.
The latest ballot initiative targets the Alaskan Department of Fish and Game. The ballot's goal is to stop wildlife management practices that control dangerous predators and protect the states natural inhabitants from their harmful wrath.
The ADF&G currently implements aerial control in remote areas of Alaska where predator overcrowding has devastated moose and caribou populations. Moose and Caribou are a natural food source for Alaskans and Natives, and play an integral role in the state's ecosystem. In recognizing the need to maintain healthy wildlife populations, Alaskan conservationists support the ADF&G's predator management programs and oppose the extremist agenda.
While this issue may not affect all of us directly, it is necessary that we band together to help stop this legislation dead in its tracks. If not, we run the risk that this Alaska initiative will set a precedent that extremists from all fifty states will latch on to and bring to our own backyards.
To help support this cause, and prevent animal rights extremists from using it as a stepping stone to a much bigger agenda, please spread the word to your friends and family.
