Over this 25 mile route, you will find old townsites, mining history and some of the best scenery in California. The route will take you from Foresthill to Robinson Flat Campground. This is the paved section, past here, you may want to take a four wheel-drive vehicle to Soda Springs or French Meadows. Directions from I-80: Travel 15.5 miles to the Foresthill Ranger Station.
