Arriving in Bishkek, Kyrgystan some 30 hours after departure, we rested the first day. The next day, we made our visit to the United Nations funded children\'s orphanage in Bishkek, which was very well kept, with all the latest facilities.

The children were very happy to see us and couldn\'t wait to dig into the school supplies and sporting equipment we brought. There were school supplies crayons, pencils, paper, softballs, bats, and eight soccer balls.

We left for the Naryn Region of Kyrgystan on the following day, for a 10-hour drive to the hunting area. We slept at 9,500 feet, and hunted at 13,500 feet on horseback. There had been no rainfall this year so the whole area was very dry. The hunt turned out to be very successful and culminated with me taking a 51-inch Siberian ibex.

It was a very well-run camp and the guides were very professional.
